iRVision is FANUC’s unique, fully-integrated visual detection system that enables FANUC ROBOTS to see – making production faster, smarter and more reliable.
iRVision finds parts and their precise position and orientation (X,Y, Z and R). As a result, production flexibility increases because expensive positioning fixtures are not required. 2D vision is suited for any material handling application including palletizing and de-palletizing, as well as vision inspection.
iRVision 3DL uses a hybrid sensor head (FANUC development) for the 3D vision function. The 3DL head uses structured laser light projections for reliable detections. The projection of structured light makes the system robust against various surface conditions (e.g. flat metal, rust, wet, discolorations, etc). Using this hybrid technology, FANUC’s 3DL Sensor can detect the position and posture of a part in 3D.
The iRVision 3D Area Sensor uses a projector unit for 3D measurements. 3D data is measured in a wide area by projecting structured light very quickly for reliable detection. A 3DV Sensor may be used for depalletizing, kitting, tote picking, presence/absence check, 3D visual line tracking and many more applications. The 3DV Sensor is also ideal for 2D applications with low contrast or hard to find targets.
iRVision 3D Area Sensor uses a projector unit for 3D measurements. 3D data is measured in a wide area by projecting structured light very quickly for reliable detection. A 3DA Sensor can be mainly used for depalletizing and bin picking.
iRVision 2D functionality can be added to iRPickTool to support the detection of randomly placed parts on a moving conveyor. This way, the iRPickTool equips single or multiple robots with the ability to identify, pick and place items in linear and/ or circular conveyor tracking. This is supported by a wide range of features including advanced queue management, buffering and tray functionality.
iRCalibration functions are based on iRVision, but it is a stand-alone service tool to simplify the initial setup and speed up the entire integration, which improves application accuracy. Additional solutions based on vision systems are the iRVision Weld Tip Inspection, which prevents wear and tear of the weld tip, and the iRTorchMate, which inspects the arc torch, and calculates and corrects possible misalignment.
FANUC Force Sensors provide our ROBOTS the ability to sense applied force in multiple directions, while also enabling our ROBOTS to detect force and torque applied to the end effector in 6 degrees of freedom. This provides them with an almost human sense of touch and the ability to undertake work previously done by craftsmen. 4 different sizes of Force Sensors are available for 6-axis FANUC ROBOTS with payload capacities up to 250 kg. FANUC Force Sensors achieve maximum uptime by combining fewer parts with FANUC reliability. For faster processing they are completely integrated into the ROBOT.
FANUC Servo Positioners open up your options and give you the ability to do more with your FANUC ROBOT. Models cover a range of payloads up to 1500 kg and, depending on your needs, offer varying degrees of speed and flexibility. Sharpen your competitive edge and increase your productivity by adding FANUC Servo Positioners on applications, such as Arc welding, that require maximum tool dexterity and speed.

FANUC LVC is the perfect solution for processes, such as spot welding, that require increased accuracy at high speeds. The software, which is unique to FANUC, allows the ROBOT to learn the vibration characteristics of a path using an accelerometer. This enables it to optimize the path and achieve higher speeds while keeping vibration to a minimum – even at maximum speed. Getting the most out of the ROBOT, this results in considerably shorter cycle times and maximum accuracy.
ROBOGUIDE is the leading of offline programming ROBOT Simulation Software on the market for FANUC ROBOTS. The ROBOGUIDE family of process-focused ROBOT simulation software packages allows users to create, program and simulate a robotic work cell in 3D without the physical need and expense of a prototype work cell setup. With virtual ROBOTS and work cell models, ROBOGUIDE reduces risk by enabling visualization of single and multi-ROBOT work cell layouts before actual installation.

FANUC DCS is a smart integrated software solution designed to keep operators, robots and tooling completely safe. With no need to invest in costly, space-taking safety equipment, it also helps keep the space required for ROBOT cells to a minimum. Using FANUC iPendant Touch operators are able to visualize defined safety zones and confirm this from a 3D perspective in front of the ROBOT cell.
