Role of the FANUC ER-4iA in World Skills

Since becoming a Global Industry Partner of World Skills in 2018, FANUC has been instrumental in supporting the Robot Systems Integration competitions. The ER-4iA robot is central to these events, providing competitors with hands-on experience in Robot Programming, Vision Integration, Gripper Operation, System Setup.

The ER-4iA is a Special Robot used for FANUC's educational packages, offering a plug-and-play solution for institutions to teach robotics and automation. These packages include:

Fenceless Carts: Mobile training units equipped with safety features like DCS (Dual Check Safety) and Safe Zone scanners, allowing safe operation without physical barriers.
Integrated Vision Systems: The iRVision 2D system enables students to learn about visual guidance and object recognition.
